“Perfect place to end our wedding day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

We booked Windfalls for 2 nights based on fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor and proximity to our wedding reception. The hotel and service more than lived up to expectations. On arrival at the hotel after a long and exciting wedding day Margarita greeted us at the door almost before our taxi had stopped and showed us straight into the beautiful Lotus room. The most painless check-in I have ever experienced involved being asked what we would like for breakfast the next day, shown the helpful book with wifi password etc and told to enjoy our stay. The decor in the Lotus room is beautiful, and it has a lovely bathroom with an amazing multi-jet drench shower. The four poster bed had been decorated with rose petals for our wedding night and was very comfortable! Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, lots of choice, and the fresh fruit on the table went well with my pancakes. We mentioned to Margarita that we had an early start the next day and would unfortunately miss breakfast, she offered to prepare a croissants, muffins and fruit for us to take away, unexpected and appreciated! With only four rooms the hotel has such an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, despite living nearby my husband and I are trying to think of some excuse to book in there again!!

My partner and I just returned from this hotel. To start with the room was amazing the standard was unbelievable along with the service. Margarita bent over backwards to make sure are stay was as homely as possible. When taken to are room we was shown how everything worked. As we where talking about asking for the wifi password it was brought to us along with a contact number, champagne and the breakfast menu. We book a table at the hillside inn for dinner and had said to Margarita we needed a taxi, could we have a number and she insisted she booked one for us.. Breakfast was lovely and served in a lovely manor.
We will be back.

We stayed at windfalls before and after our honeymoon trip as we flew from Gatwick airport. The B and B is beautifully decorated, in immaculate condition and in a perfect location. We stayed in the orchid room which was very nice. The bed was so comfortable and bathroom lovely with good quality hair products. Margarita, the owner was very welcoming and allowed us relax in her brilliant venue! It is close to a number of places to eat and train stations whilst being hidden away. It's close to a Gatwick airport holiday inn but I don't know why people would stay there if u can have windfall?! Margarita arranged a taxi to the airport costing around £12 and we left our car at the B and B for the week! We can say we had an amazing start and finish the our honeymoon thanks to this trip! We would defiantly return!

In the days before we flew here to cancun we stayed at The Place and Hilton Manchester and Holborn Grange London, Windfalls blew these places away in all areas. We stayed in the magnolia room, this room was simply stunning, as were the lounge and breakfast room. Rainfall shower was amazing! Breakfast was perfect! We will definitely be visiting windfall again! Thank you so much to Margareta for making our visit so good.

The Windfalls Boutique Hotel reminded me of the highly prestigious Banyan Tree Hotel which is one of the highest ranked hotels in the world. On entering, you find yourself in a little oasis of tranquillity. The house is very tastefully decorated with a Far Eastern influence. On arrival, following a tiring car journey, I was welcomed by Margarita who led me through to a peaceful lounge where I relaxed while she prepared me some freshly ground coffee and some warm scones with cream and jam. I was aware of a mild but very pleasing scent around the hotel and in the lounge there was some discrete, soothing music. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and it was clear that much time is spent on attention to detail. We stayed two nights in the orchid room which we adored. It was tastefully furnished with very comfortable bedding. The breakfast is of the highest quality. I would strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there again.

Room Tip: I did get the opportunity to view all the rooms. Each one is tastefully decorated and you would not...

We stayed overnight at Windfalls boutique hotel in the Lily room before a trip to Las Vegas. From the moment we arrived to leaving we were treated like royalty. Margarita is a fantastic hostess & we were so well looked after it certainly set a high standard for Las Vegas ! We had warm scones & either tea or coffee on arrival & we asked where we could eat locally for our evening meal & she reccommended several options. Before we left for our morning flight, we were offered breakfast, which consisted of cereal, Yoghurts or fresh fruit before a made to order beautifullt cooked breakfast. We will definately return here , I am almost looking for an excuse to return. I would 100% reccommend staying at the windfalls.

Room Tip: We chose the Lily room & it is at the top of the hotel, it was a little warm, however we opened...

My other half and I stayed for one night for a short weekend break between visits to Hever Castle and Brighton. We stayed in the Lilly room (chose this room becuase im a bath person)..

The entire property is decorated to the most beautiful degree and the host Magarita could not do enough to make sure that everything was special, easy and done to the highest standards.... believe me if i had enough money i would move in full time...

afternoon tea and breakfast was faultless - and say hello to the dog who has the most beautiful nature.

As soon as we have an excuse to do so - we will be back!
