“Swindon the land of roundabouts”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Only three things worth visiting Swindon and negotiating the hideous roundabout system for - the Steam museum, the John Lewis home store and the Outlet Village. Otherwise, it's pretty uninspiring.

“Live there”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

It is highly under rated as a place; with a Theatre, Good Library, Shops including the outlet village, and accessable for many other places like Bath and Bristol and the Cotswolds

“A little tired but worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Swindon has had its ups and downs of late and some of the centre is rather run down but it is a good place to visit, especially with the Great Western Way shopping outlet centre. Swindon is also ideally situated for travelling and exploring the Cotswolds and Bristol and Oxford are not far away.
all in all Swindon is the forgotten city that is well worth a visit.

“Easy, welcoming city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

The Swindon city centre is basically like a big mall. Nice athmosphere and everything but the movie theatres are nearby. Be sure to visit the SPA, and to try out the restaurants. There was live music, several bands performing in the Queens Park, and the Old City is beautiful to have a walk in also.

“A good town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

Swindon is a bit grey but is a good town to shop, great cinema, most everything you could need.
Perfect access for the M4.
