“ok for 1 night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We stayed at Jurys for new years eve in a "family room" at a price of £73.00. the first room was to small for a 4th bed so they moved us. We usually stay at the Marriott and pay about £5-10 more, I would say that the difference is well worth paying, the rooms are better, bigger and nicer and the general hotel position is better. Parking is cheaper at Jurys £5.00 but the car park is round the back and you have to walk round the front to get in, its not far but its not well lit and this hotel is on a main road and not in the best area

Service and staff were great and made up for the small rooms etc

Room Tip: Get a room at the back away from the main road and if booking for family check there is enough space...

We recently stayed in a triple room, just before Christmas. Hotel was excellent, room well equiped with everything required including a double and single bed, which makes a change as normally a triple room is a double and sofabed. Staff were really courteous especially the restuarant staff who were managing a very full breakfast session, including several coach parties. At no time was anything too much and all queries were dealt with in an efficient manner. Whole experience was brilliant and will definately use Jury's Inn again.

Hotel bright and modern - and just 5 mins walk from town centre and station.

Large room on top floor - overlooking the town.

Good service in Bar . Decent bar food - with free wifi access...

Breakfast was ok - but a bit too busy - had to wait for tables to become free - and run as quick as you could....

Reception quick and efficient for check in and check out..

Room Tip: High floor - away from lifts... facing North

Quick overnight stay having never stayed in a Jurys Inn before.
Great value deal.
Hotel was typical of a chain hotel.
Room was clean and quite spacious. Bathroom was fine.
Food served in the bar was not the best but filled a gap, but breakfast was lovely - especially the porridge!!!
All staff were charming and very helpful.
Room was quiet, despite being on a main road.
Would stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable beds, very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was all fresh and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend jury's inn. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

stayed here on consecutive weeks on business. Check in was friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean, modern and of average size with reasonable sized bathrooms. On the first occasion I stayed on the 8th floor, much quieter than I had expected it to be when i saw the fun fair over the road. On the second occasion I stayed on the 3rd floor -the hotel was a lot rowdier that time and somebody was trying to get into the room opposite at 3.00 am without success! Ate in the restaurant and the food was fine and well presented, again the waiter was very friendly and helpful if easily confused! Breakfast is standard fare, limited fruit and yogurt and one toaster on go slow but fine for the price. Altogether not a bad place to stay in Swindon, although if staying on a regular basis it would be better if it had some leisure facilities.

I've stayed here on a few work trips to Swindon. It's one of the better Jurys I've stayed in, comfy beds, good sized rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast and close to the station / centre of town. Not much else to say really - its a Jurys!

Room Tip: Go for the corner rooms (ending in 10 e.g. 310, 410, 510 etc...) You get a HUGE bed in these rooms!
