8 of us went to this hidden gem of a restaurant, in what for me was a less well known area of the city. For a Friday evening the restaurant was not busy at all. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and we were shown to the bar area where we ordered some drinks.
The menu is very good and there is a wide selection of food. I chose the chicken pathia. Without doubt probably the nicest curry I've tasted - a definite ten out of ten.
We sensibly chose to pay for our drinks separately - a round of drinks came out costing £15 more than the food tab for two people on this visit. We did think that £7 for a large rose wine is expensive, but this wouldn't deter us visiting again - we would just drink less at the restaurant!
The bill for 8 people (excluding drinks) was £100.78 which was incredibly reasonable considering the quality of the food.
Excellent service, friendly staff and outstanding food. If you are thinking of visiting - it is well worth it!
