“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

Having stayed at another B & B locally whilst on a previous couse I hoped this would be an improvement and it certainly was. What a wonderful place to stay, the room was very tastefully decorated and thought through even down to a tray for a soggy tea bag! The bed was divine and the shower superb. Breakfast was perfect beautifully cooked and Phil was an excellent host and welcoming. I would definately recommend this to anyone and next time I'm in town will be booking in again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had an amazing time, went for my boyfriends birthday and the hosts were really welcoming, chatty and helpful. The breakfast was fab and the b&b was right near the town centre of Harrogate. Slept really well and would definitely recommend the superior double room which has a whirlpool and is very well decorated. Nothing bad to say at all and it made his birthday extra special.

We stayed for one night on 17/11/2012.
This B&B has a great location close to Harrogate town centre and Phil is a fantastic host.
From arrival to departure he was extremely professional and informative with that all important quality, a sense of humour. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely with a very nice whirlpool bath. The whole place is immaculately clean and well presented.
Breakfast was delicious, but don't ask Phil about the issues with his sausages!
It's a great place to stay and very good value. Heartily recommended!

Just had a really lovely weekend in Harrogate staying at the Acorn Lodge. Had such a warm welcome from the owner, Phil, and he is a great source of information about good places to eat, lovely walks etc. The whole place is tastefully decorated, very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious! It also it offers great value. Acorn Lodge is perfectly positioned, within walking distance of all the main Harrogate attractions with some wonderful restaurants very close by. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to stay.

Went to Harrogate for a weekend to see some friends and came across this little treasure. Now this place is lovely, tucked away in a beautiful tree lined avenue in a quiet area of busy Harrogate. The rooms are lovely, clean and plenty of room to relax. There is a lovely lounge area and a great breakfast room. As for the host, we have never been made to feel so welcome - great guy and his breakfast, well this is to die for, nice size, not too big and not too small, and the choice of cereal, fruit , bread for toast is extensive. We are hoping they are still next year so we can stay again.

Thank you for your hospitality and making our stay a great one.

Room Tip: All rooms are of an excellent standard
