“Very slow”

Popped in for a full English. Waited about 40 minutes for it to arrive. It was ok. Doubt I will return.

“Immaculate, tasty, fresh and competitive. Must try at least once”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

I have now visited Cafe Rita 3 times and have found the service and food amazing.
Harrogate has been lacking something of this nature for a long time and thank goodness it's arrived.
Very friendly staff, hot, fresh, well presented food, immaculately clean and very good menu. Afternoon tea was a delight. Bucks Fizz, as much tea as you can drink, 4 types of sandwiches, on extremely fresh bread and baguettes, homemade fruit scone, just nicely warmed and a selection of little cream filled cakes. Absolutely wonderful. All for just £10.00. I have had Afternoon tea at a very famous Harrogate competitor and in my opinion can say, with absolute certainty that Cafe Rita is hot on their heels. £32.95 as opposed to theirs of £10!! Do the Maths and try them.
I have eaten a full breakfast and a filled pitta and also crepes suzette, which was lovely and very big.
No grumbles at all, except, the beautiful breakfast, for me, was slightly let down by the use of streaky bacon, on what otherwise is a perfect and quality dish. however, it was cooked to perfection and that made up for it, hence I would have another one.
I cannot praise them enough. Don't be put off by the fact it's small, or not in the absolute centre of town. It's 2 minutes from the bus station and their location reflects in their more than fair prices. try them and then put a review on here.

“Great find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

This little cafe is really handy for Asda and the centre of town. I've been once for coffee and twice for lunch and it has always been up to scratch. The cappucino is hot, strong and frothy and the food is great. I had a felafel wrap one day for lunch, which was a good size, generously filled with tasty salad and hummous as well as the felafel and had a fresh salad garnish and a load of crisps. My mum had a toastie with the same garnish and crisps and enjoyed it, and we treated ourselves to a Crepe Suzette to share for pudding. That was gorgeous: tasty pancakes and oranges with an orange liqueur sauce, cream and ice cream. Wonderful!
The staff are friendly and helpful, and the place is modern, minimalist and very clean, with a spotless toilet downstairs. Keep up the good work, I'll be back!

“What a find.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Cafe Rita opened less than 6 months ago but is already popular with shoppers and visitors to Harrogate. it offers good food = elegantly presented with particular attention to detail. The full English breakfast is available all day and is excellent value. All the crockery is white porcelain, including the teapots which are seved on individual silver trays The staff are friendly and attentive. The cafe is tastefully furnished in a contemporary style using stylish smoked glass and chrome tables and elegant leather dining chairs. It is on othe fringe of the main shopping area but is well worth a visit.
