Personal to Harrogate and lovely place to take the children and family, highly recommended. My brothers both enjoyed it, the pond was lovely to show to my family and the boat racing was fun.

Lovely park. Great for walks, picnics. Bandstand in action in Summer. Take your tennis rackets and a picnic when weather's good. Great playground for the under 10's. Watch out for the new skateboard park and teenagers ignoring the no cycling rules. Big enough for everyone to enjoy.

“Brilliant gardens to wander through.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Victorian splendour lives on in Harrogate. Immaculately kept, there is always something to see, from spring bulbs to summer flowers and autumn colour. Fantastic adventure playground, boating pool, cafe, mini golf and tennis courts all add to the atmosphere. Walk up from the town, through the gardens and the ‘pine woods’ to Harlow Carr or simple sit and people watch or listen to a brass band in summer. Love it!

“Beautiful, but lacks something”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Excellent, well kept, scenic park and woodland.
Greatadventure play area, paddling pool and model boating pool and a skate and park for all ages, however, many teenagers ignore the rules and race through the park on skateboards and bikes. Very old miniature crazy golf and a pitch and putt course built on a hill. tennis Courts too.
The only cafe lacks variety and the park could do with maybe a miniature land train to take people around as its very large and hilly. It could travel upto the Betty Tea Rooms and harlow Carr gardens. maybe they could subsidise the cost of setting it up?
Overall, a relaxing area in a lovely town.
