“Fish Finger Sandwich”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

Harrogate was packed for the TDF. Came out to the "Sun Inn" for lunch. The Fish Finger sandwich and chips accompanied by a good ale was spot on.

Good to know, must say the fish finger sandwich is a big hit, the sort of food from your childhood that is always welcoming :)

“Lovely traditional pub and great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

Visited saturday evening after a drenching at Malham Cove.
Sat next to the fire so dried our jackets. Food was just what you would expect, nicely cooked, good value and fair portions. Added to a couple of pints, a lovely sunny evening in a good old fashioned beamed pub, all in all a great end to the day

This is a great pub and well worth a visit. The fire was lit which gave it a really cosy feel! Even in may lol!
The food was great and plentiful and the staff were friendly.
Perfect for dog walkers and bikers!
Will definately go back :)

“The perfect traditional pub!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

Fabulous traditional pub, cosy surroundings, great staff and dog friendly! We couldn't ask for a better pub! We've only ever eaten bowls of chips here, so can't really comment on the food, but the chips we got (and what we saw and smelled of the food being served around us) were perfect, and definitely tempted us to come back for a more hearty feed in future! Excellent friendly staff, nothing like the pretentious pubs in Harrogate town. Best pint of Guinness ever!!
