“A Good Day Out with the Kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

A great day out with the kids, they can run around to their hearts content and climb the rocks if they are brave enough (and you are brave enough to watch!). The views re spectacular and worth the climb.

“Loads to see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

A really special place to go for a wander, a mooch or even a "proper" walk. The boulder shapes are fascinating and there's opportunities for everyone to explore and discover something new. Decent gift shop.

“Good but visitor shop shut.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Visited on a windy February Sunday. However this didn't deter from the enjoyment of our visit. A young couple, we also took our dog and had a great time acting like young kids again climbing up and over the rocks and getting some great pics. The windy weather just added to the enjoyment! The formations are incredible and some do take your breath away.

£4 parking charge but that was the only cost. The only thing that let us down was the visitor shop was shut and thus there was no cafe or opportunity for a hot drink at the end of the walk. I feel they are missing a trick here as the rocks were busy despite the time of year.

I would recommend a visit if in the area.

“Amazing Rock formations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

This is a really nice place to go and visit for a few hours, being able to climb over the rocks adds a nice fun twist to the usual walk! Plus there are no Health and Safety restrictions, explore and climb at your leisure. The views from the top of the rocks of the surrounding area are fantastic!

There is a small cafe and toilet facilities onsite which is reasonably priced in addition the attraction is free but there is £4, parking fee, but if you are in the National trust it's free.
