If you're looking for a place to stay that makes you feel at home then this is the place! From the offer of tea and cake on arrival to the chocolates and maderia in the room, this place is heavenly! There are slippers and bathrobes, fresh fruit and the best cooked breakfast, the attention to detail is lovely. We had room 2 and the bath was bath sized, not one of those ankle deep can just about sit in it types you normally get! Overall I can't recommend this place enough, one of the best we've stayed in.

What a super b+b, first class. We had a lovely stay at Knabbs Ash. On arrival we were met by our friendly host Sheila. After showing us to our room she gave us a most welcome cut of tea in the residents lounge. We had a lovely room at the rear of the property which had super views of the countryside. The facilities were excellent, there were things we didn't expect to find but were added bonus. - torch, first aid kit and sewing kit. The bedding was pretty but not over fussy, with crisp cotton sheets and fluffy white towels. The toiletries were of good quality and the tea making tray and biscuits was well stocked and replenished daily. Breakfast was good - something for everyone. There was fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and or cooked breakfast all served in a warm and sun filled pretty dining room.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.
Thank you.

We stayed for our silver wedding celebration. What an oustanding b&b Sheila was a superb hostess. The room was immaculate. Would recommend this b&b anytime to anyone. Thankyou you made our weekend memorable. Mark & Jayne

Knabbs Ash B&B is lovely, clean rooms throughout, very welcoming hosts, we felt very comfortable. Sheila & Colin do a wonderful job. If this wasnt overseas for us we would stay again and soon. The recommendation for dinner at the Queens head was also excellent :)

A very warm welcome by Sheila. Our twin-bedded room was cosy, prettily decorated and was appointed with everything one could need for an enjoyable stay, right down to a torch, plenty of good quality toiletries and, best of all, a little cut glass decanter of sherry! peacefully situated with lovely views, especially from the comfortably guest lounge. breakfast was delicious with fresh raspberries, strawberries and prunes, good choice of cereals, yogurts and good choice of cooked breakfast. Would definitely return if we were in the area.

I do not normally add reviews but our stay at Knabbs Ash could not be faulted. Sheila was a perfect hostess and we were made to feel very welcome. The room and the en-suite shower room were spotless and the breakfast was excellent. We would not hesitate in returning.

29-31st August 2013. Had a great 3 night break in Harrogate and surrounding areas, the Knabbs Ash B&B was great. The location was a little out of town, but as one of us doesn't drink, driving out to eat every night wasn't an issue. B&B on the main route to any possible direction you would wish to visit. Very friendly hosts, even the dog wanted to have a quick game of football every time you arrived or left the building. Rooms were extremely comfortable, bathroom had everything you could wish for, great showers, loads of hot water. Very comfortable beds, we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty lacking for criticism too, we ordered exactly what we wanted the night before and there it was waiting for you the next morning. Fruit and cereal was excellent, plenty of choice, tea, coffee and toast plentiful, cooked breakfast if you want it was more than you could possibly manage comfortably. Had some great restaurant recommendtions from the host too, the Wellington was superb, couldn't fault the food or service at all, just wish I had room for the dessert. Some of the other guests tried the Queen's on recommendation and had also had an amazing meal. The Turkish Baths in Harrogate is a must visit for relaxation.

Room Tip: Choose room 3 in case anyone gets up early, the shower pump seems to be next to room 2 in the airing...
