“Don't look anywhere else - stay here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2012

The guesthouse is in a quiet residential road however it is within 5/10 minutes easy walk into centre of Harrogate. The Proprietors have obviously spent alot of time, money and TLC on this beautiful Georgian guesthouse. They were both very warm and welcoming and gave us tips on our whereabouts for restaurants, bars and places of interest. The Rooms are not huge but are perfectly formed, comfortable and adequate containing lovely furnishings and ensuite. The rooms (and indeed the whole of the house) were spotlessly clean. The bedroom contained hairdryers of a good standard (not those rubbish ones that attach to bathrrom sockets that you get in 4/5 * hotels). Tea coffeee & yummy Harrogate biscuits also supplied and plentyfull. Breakfast was cooked when you want it (great that its not like the buffet breakfast that dryout/stew/go cold that some hotels provide). We were asked if we would like further portions of everything (not stingy in any shape or form). Tea was topped up several times. The service was exceptional as was the quality of breakfast. It was nice also not to be rushed.
Without a doubt if I was in the area again I would stay here and thoroughly recommend Geminian.
If only other hotels etc would take a leaf this couples book on how to run an establishment it would make everyone very happy. Nothing too much trouble........... take heed Royal Hotel Llandudno (if you are still in business????)

One word......... faultless!!

Room Tip: If you are a bit unsteady on your feet ask for a lower level room as 2nd floor stairs are a little s...

I chose to stay at the Geminian B&B due to its close proximity to a conference I was attending with a friend. Luckily it was just a few minutes walk from the town centre too for exploring local restaurants and shops! On arrival the host was very friendly and welcoming. Our twin room was very comfortable and warm. It was fairly spacious for a twin room in a guest house. The furniture was modern and everything kept very clean. We had a flat screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities in our room. It was excellent having our own private en-suite with shower/wc/basin too. Breakfast the next morning was delicious with lots of selection. An absolute bargain at £65 for the twin room with breakfast for two of us! I would highly recommend this B&B and when I return to Harrogate, will be sure to book my room here again!

We stayed as two couples for 1 night last weekend. Could not really find a fault. Michael and Denys provided an excellent service. Location is perfect. Breakfast was top quality. Probably the best Guest house we have stayed in (and there have been a few).
If I have to find a couple of faults then, finding a parking space close by can be a problem, but you just need to drive around the block a couple of times. The rooms are bit on the small side as are the bathrooms, not a problem for a night or 2 but may be if you were there for any length of time. But do use this establishment...

Very welcoming staff who were extremely helpful with parking. Rooms beautifully clean & nicely decorated; breakfast was delicious.
Only drawback was the noise from a heavy-footed guest above us, and being above the front door and dining room meant that you were up late & awake early!
Would stay again.

Stayed here on a Saturday night. We booked three rooms for 3 couples. The owner was more than helpful helping to arrange a surprise bottle of champagne for a 30th birthday. Breakfast was extremely good and the whole place was clean and tidy. Only slight drawback was it was a bit stuffy in the rooms due to thuderstorms overnight.

My friend and iwere welcomed by the friendly owner who assisteduswith parking, checked us swiftly in and helped us with our bags to our rooms.

The rooms are nicely decorated with lots of nice touches from a trouser press to cotton buds in the bathroom. You have full control of the radiator in the room which kept the room at a lovely warm temp'.

It is within walking distance (only a few minutes) of Harrogates main shops, bars and restaurants.

I would definitely recommened this guest house to friends, family and anyone else. I will certainly stay with them again.
