Description: What looks like your average truckers cafe on the A47 is actually a hidden gem with home cooked food made by the Italian lady who owns the cafe with her son. Absolutely wonderful, tasty, simple food and at a great price too.

“Bestest roadside cafe in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Having seen a grand demise in roadside cafes on the A47 between Peterbourough and Norwich I did a search on tripadvisor and found this place. It certainly lived up to its recommendations. The sefvice was freindly and efficiant. The quality of the food was excellent. You can even create your own breakfast menu. Beats all the mediocre and bad chains. Oh, and it is not expensive.

“A Transport to Delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Have eaten here on several occasions, that says it all - I wouldn't go back if it wasn't good.
In fact to call it good would be an understatement, its excellent!
Don't be put off by the looks of an extension to a hauliers yard, inside its spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
The food is freshly prepared on site and represents great value for money - look out for the daily specials sign by the front door. Main meals are available in a choice of sizes, be warned the portions are generous, remember your parents warning about eyes being bigger than bellies!! I've been beaten on more than one occasion!
If you are on the A47 east from Peterborough, then look out for Chill Out after about 10 miles, they open from 7am at the end of the week, 8am to Wednesday, and close at 4pm, You will not regret the experience!

“10/10 for Chill Out Services”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

We called here for breakfast on a day trip to Brancaster, for breakfast with a 2 year old toddler.
The egg/bacon/sausage baps at £3.95 each were delicious, and the young waitress could not have been more helpful & friendly. A high chair was provided immediately, did we want the tray on or off, tea was delivered and teapots topped up without being asked. Crayons & colouring were provided for our granddaughter.
The toilets were very clean & smelt lovely, and there was a 5 star hygiene certificate. The waitress ran after us to give us a lollipop for the little one.
As a previous reviewer said, don't be put off by the transport cafe, this really is a little oasis along the fens. So much more personal that the usual motorway services. Give it a try.

“check this out.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

if your going to the east coast along the A47 , stop here for eats or drinks. family run, good quality cooking , lots of specials, o a p daily offers. it may be in the front of a transport yard ,but dont be put off, !!!!!!, they cater for coaches by appointment, and they dont take you to poor eateries. we had ham/chicken pie, and prawn salad with rose sauce. rhubarb crumble/ and apple pie with ice cream, two large fresh orange juices. just under £21.00.
give it a visit.
