Needed a hotel for 2 nights near my office and close proximity to town centre. It served the purpose and was clean and comfortable. Newly refurbished rooms also

Good stay overall and would recommend to others

Smelly, smelly , smelly ...., thought it couldn't get worse? Fire alarm at 4am due to someone smoking in their room. Then again at 4:15, 4:30 ...... Arghhhhh!!
Would never stay here again.

Sat in the bar and watched room after room arrive, see room complain and leave!!

When booking I was told there would be an en suite, there was not, the toilets and showers were pretty much porta loos, I did not get a shower as they weren't clean, I had to walk down the hall in the middle of the night, and as I was pregnant I was up a few times, it was in what looked like an industrial estate and walked past it many times while trying to find it.

When going to Peterborough to see friends again I will not be staying in this hotel, it was more of a hostel.

We stayed at The Hub for only one night and it was perhaps the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. First of all the hotel is located in what's appears to be some sort of industrial estate (surrounded by car dealerships and building supplies shops ect.), the hotel itself looks like a warehouse. The first room we were given had several problems; the light didn't work, the window was not secure and had a gap at the top of the frame which caused a draft and a concern for security. The bed was full of blonde hairs and appeared not to have been changed. To top it off the room had an overpowering smell of damp and there was what looked like urine on the toilet seat. We informed reception of the problems in the room and they changed our room.
Although the second room was not as bad as the first, it was still not worth the money. The double bed we had booked was infact two singles pushed together causing a rather uncomfortable gap in the middle. The tv signal was very poor and kept cutting out. The bed linin felt old and quite damp, probably caused by the amount of condensation in the room. On top of this, when you turned on the shower it would flood and promptly turn the whole bathroom into a small paddling pool. We were told we would be compensated for the inconvenience but only received £7...

I stayed here just after the refurbishment last year. I have just stayed again and they're already dong more refurbishment work...the new owners really do take great care of this place! The rooms are spotless and the communal toilets are being kept clean throughout the day/night. Will stay here again when needed for business.

Stayed here with my netball team on Friday night for a Saturday fixture. Three in a room, one double bed with bunkbed above. Quite small room for three people, found some hairs on the bunkbed and the strip lighting in the room not nice, the smaller bedside light did not work. Shared toilets bit smelly and shower room small with leaky shower. You can see it's been redecorated to look nicer but could still see marks on the walls. Pretty much like a hostel, seems like a place for contractors and workmen. Good value and friendly helpful manager but would not stay longer than a night.

I was sent to Peterborough for a week with work and was shocked at the hotel they had booked me... the staff were friendly but the hotel standards were poor... The rooms weren't cleaned, just the beds made, I tested this theory out by marking the sheet one morning. The shared showers were quite poor too, leaked everywhere. There was a lot of people drinking all night and reception wouldn't do anything about noise levels even at 2am.
but these things aside, It could be an ok hotel for the price
