“Good food at reasonable price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2014 NEW

This is a predominately organic restaurant (& shop) in the lovely village of Greystones. We had a lasagne with spinach & beetroot salad, which was delicious. The freshness of the vegetables was something I hadn't tasted for years. The rustic decor is cosy & family friendly - a great place for lunch while exploring County Wicklow. Make sure to take some of the organic vegetables home, and get yourself a copy of the twins' recipe book.

“Lovely cafe endorsing a positive food philosophy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2014 NEW

One of my favourite cafés as a vegetarian. Highly recommended. A nice way to end the bray to grey stones walk every time.

“What a Lovely Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2014

The unprepossessing exterior does not prepare the diner for the great food and ambiance. The food was good, tasty and delivered with in a very friendly manner. It was wonderful to have a full menu to choose from, and it had an interesting variety. Staff really took an interest in us and did their very best to make us feel welcome. We certainly intend to return.

“Delicious hearty and healthy food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2014

The Happy Pear is one of my favourite places to eat. I was there last month for a delicious brunch with a friend from overseas who couldn't stop raving about it! The salads are really tasty, good value and as you can help yourself the portion sizes are very good. As they offer free porridge in the mornings, I think they have a great social conscience too! I think they could have a wider selection of hoot foods for breakfast though. Overall, a lovely place to eat.

“Happy days in the happy pear”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2014

I love going to the happy pear. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The recipes are very imaginative and tasty and even though you have been out for a treat you never feel guilty. You can go in with family, friends or on your own. They are very child friendly, and if you want to buy organic healthy products after then the shop beside the restaurant is excellent.
