A couple of small niggly things first- a pillow case had not been changed before our arrival and breakfast service on one of the days was a bit of a shambles but that may have been a low staffing issue:). The reason I want to say that first is because overall we had a lovely relaxing weekend and I don't want my review based on these things! There are only 29 rooms in the hotel and the house has a lovely old world feel. The weather was very cold but in the summer the breakfast room would be amazing with the large glass door open. It has a very small unimposing bar, restaurant and a lounge room. Staff are very helpful and the seats at reception (with jar of gummy bears!) adds to the relaxing feel. 5 minutes and an average of e8 taxi fare got us in to town. We did not have dinner here but the breakfast is nice but try to get there early as it got manic at one point. I would stay again.
