recently back from 2 night stay in days hotel, check in staff member not very pleasent, handed key card to us and that was it. no info, no chat, had to ask about parking and which way to rooms. a little customer service would'nt kill. room smelled of stale smoke even though it was on a non smoking floor and as room was leading onto the main road couldnt leave window open for long as noise of traffic was too loud. Breakfast was basic, staff around there not very pleasent.
but sure you get what you pay for so will know better next time

Just back after a wonder 4 night stay in Days Hotel. The staff and the food were great and the kids had a great time at the kids club. The hotel is very central for doing shopping and also for travelling to Tramore, Dunmore East etc.

The only complaint i would have is the heat in the room - Thank God for the FANS. Also there was not enough space to empty the suitcases and put away kids cloths - could do with more shelving.

I had a fantastic stay with my husband & 2 young children at Days Hotel-the location was perfect & even though the weather was terrible the kids had so much to do with the kids club in the morning & there was a Kids disco aswell-they also really loved the swimming pool whilst my husband said the gym was "state of the art" so that kept him happy-I meanwhile was able to get pampered in the beautiful spa in the hotel aswell-the staff there & in the hotel were so helpful. The only issue I had was trying to find my way to our room as we were in the new rooms but were well worth it when the manager showed us to it.They had great music in the bar every night so they really catered for all. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Waterford.

I stayed in day for the bank holiday weekend i booked for the 30th but when i got there they said no you booked for the 31th so they moved us down to dooleys hotel which was lovely for one nite after the one nite days put us up for another 2nites as we booked. the rooms where small it was like a mase trying to fing ur room .the bar is dirty not clean at all but the food is good. as we got talking to people down there they said that there where put down to dooleys aswell because the hotel manager said all of the DUBLIN people made a mistake on the dates we all booked for the 31 he said, now it is one thing making a mistake with one person but not with 15 people which wasnt wait us.I am going down there nearly six years and stayed here i will never go again it has changed and he has lost loads of customs dont stay here stay in dooleys if u are going down and u will get it cheaper!!!!!

I'm just back from a 5 night break at days hotel and really enjoyed our time there. i travelled with my husband and two children, 5 & 7. On arrival we were directed to the carpark a block behind the hotel not ideal if raining but it is a secure carpark which u dont get in most city centre hotels. The rooms were nice and spacious a bit warm but that was due to the warm weather we were given a fan as soon as we asked. The bar had a great atmosphere with different music every night and the kids were catered for too with a kids club doing different activities every morning and evening. The kids club was great and would definitely go back again with the kids. With the spa and leisure centre it would also be ideal for a couples weekend away

Thanks to all the staff who made our stay a fantastic memorable break away. Our room was lovely & spacious. We ate in both the restaurant & bar & had fabulous well presented tasty meals. Could not fault in any way. We loved the pool area & we were pampered in the newly built spa. We both had a hot stone massage. Out of this world. FANTASTIC. It was a huge advantage the hotel having car park facilities especially in a city center hotel. Although it was offsite, it was not far & was locked up secure at at night.. We will be back. Thanks again to all the staff.
