“Great place for breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

After spending a weekend down in Waterford and enduring a miserable hotel breakfast. My friends and I found this place open on Sunday morning when so many other places were closed. We were a large group, we were well served and got tea in large mugs. We were happy with the food and if I'm down in Waterford we will be going there again.

“Average good at average prices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

We went with three children for a late lunch , and hot off to a bad start when the sullen man who greeted us brought us to an unsteady creaky cramped round table for the five of us. We were put right in front of the window on the hottest day of the year. Things improved with our very pleasant waitress and the good good. The children's meals were great, proper portions, not a teaspoon of pasta in a bowl! Great teapot for two to share with proper mugs. Hood location also. Basic, but good value.

“Nothing to write home about really:(”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

To be honest we have eaten here before and its just average im sorry to say,the menus are tatty, decor is in need of a update badly, foods ok.location is handy right next to shopping centre.prices are ok,they have a specials each day.One bad thing is you dont get a itemised bill (unless you ask)you go up to pay and they just say"thats 29.50"!!!!no please thanks,im sorry to say manners are lacking with the staff, the last time i was in there the older lady(manager/owner i think) was applying her lipstick at the counter while clearly talking about the last customer who had just paid !!!!totally unacceptable.
