Yesterday my sister and I went for lunch in this pub because someone had said it was good. I had my doubts because it was a pub and we weren't wanting alcohol, and I imagined it crowded with blokes. In fact there was a relaxed atmosphere straightaway with inviting sofas and table arrangements. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food arrived quickly. It was delicious - potato cakes topped with smoked salmon plus a really good salad and a slice of thick soda bread and butter - all for under seven euros. The menu was limited but there were several things that would also have tempted me. We felt very at ease there and were able to have a good ole chat. It'll definitely go there again. The ladies toilet was the only thing that let the place down.
