Stayed 1 night during a tour of west coast, excellent location for pubs and restaurants on harbour and only a short distance from town centre, rooms were large immaculate and clean, Angela our host was the highlight of the stay, very helpful welcoming and friendly, she really couldnt do enough for us, some amazing touches too including the sweets and crisps on offer in the room, The breakfast is outstanding too with so much choice, even has we were checking out after breakfast we were offered takeaway tea or coffee for the journey, will be back again

Dear John D

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review.

As you mentioned there are great pubs and restaurants at the harbour, which like ourselves, have super views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick. We're also delighted you found your room to be clean and comfortable and that you enjoyed your hearty breakfast!
It was lovely to meet the four of you and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Kind regards
Angela

We stayed here for one night, and were so impressed that we would not hesitate to come back! The room was nice and bright, clean, and a nice size. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was good and powerful.
The breakfast is what gained this review its fifth star, though - it was excellent. The nicest scrambled eggs I've seen in a long time, and the rest of the breakfast was great, too!
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. All in all, great value for money, and I will recommend to friends coming to Westport!!

We spent a lovely day and night in Westport, our hosts were very nice and welcoming. We had a cosy double room with a beautiful view on Clew bay. Great advice for the food and pubs around (seafood at the Helm was great).

Room Tip: Room with a view on the bay.

My wife and I, coming from Germany, stayed only for one night on our tour around Ireland in this location. We had a very friendly welcome by the manager Angela.
The offered room was wonderful with a great view over the bay and the mountains. It was very quiet there, although the room is situated to the streetside.
She was very patient to listen to us and to answer our questions.
She gave us some good advices to find a restaurant and a bar for the evening.
The breakfast, which was freshly prepared by Angela, was excellent.
I,ve got the feeling, that we came as strangers and left as friends.
Highly cecommended.
Sorry for any mistakes in this text, my English is not perfect.

Good location on the harbour in Westport opposite the bar. Check in was grand, I was met by aine, she was pleasant, I paid and was given my room. Room was a single room and was tiny!!! A single bed, locker, no bedside lamp, a shelving unit with tea and coffee making facilities and a miniature tv that I would probably struggle to see anything on, bathroom was very tight, u needed to go by the sink to get to the toilet and the other side to get into the shower, no hair dryer in room, both room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and fresh sheets but the bed was very uncomfortable, could feel the springs, also walls paper thin and I could hear people in other rooms!
Met the next morning by a guy in chef gear, offered me a cooked breakfast but I just opted for coffee and toast, both were grand and an amazing view from my table over the bay. Think it was very expensive for what I got, update the bed at least for comfort and don't bother putting a tv in the room that is so small one can barely watch, a laptop has a bigger screen!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Waterside on our recent trip around Ireland. We were thrilled to find that this beautiful B&B is right at the water's edge with a wonderful view of a picturesque bay. The rooms were clean, the beds were wonderful (anywhere with real feather pillows and blankets gets my vote!), and the food was delicious. But what made our stay truly remarkable was the friendly, gracious owners. They treated us like family, helped us make arrangements for local activities, recommended the best pub for authentic Irish music (the best we saw on our entire trip!) and gave us all the information we needed for the next leg of our journey. It was like staying with family. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the ocean - the breeze was heavenly!
