Casltle Court Hotel is an excellent hotel in the center of Castlbar. The food, accomodation and nightly entertainment are excellent and is well recommended.

We have just returned from a three night break in the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport. The hotel is in a great location....we simply parked the car on our arrival and didn't use it again until our departure.We had three of our four children with us...17, 14 and 12.They entertained themselves in the leisure centre and had a great time. They enjoyed the pool although the younger two were not permitted to use the jacuzzi or sauna.
We booked a Junior Suite which was brilliant....a kingsize four poster, jacuzzi and a comfortable lounge area which was great when we had the kids with us.The kids room was lovely too.
The break included two dinners which were delicious and the service was excellent.....prompt, effecient with lots of tasty bread and water jug replenished without the need to ask.
This was our second visit to the hotel and I would hope to make a return visit in the not too distant future. Great for a family break especially with young children. Easy access to the town centre and little shops.

Stayed here with a friend on a mid-week break. The hotel has recently undergone a refubishment on the ground floor and they are now starting on the bedrooms. Saying that though, our room was very spacious and extremly clean. You definitly could not fault it in anyway.

There was a resonable choice on the breakfast menu.

The staff were extremly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is right in the heart of Westport, so perfect for nights out as its only a couple of minutes walk back.

We stayed at the Castlecourt for 2 nights, including the New Years Eve Gala Ball. The hotel is lovely, and the staff are quite simply excellent - very friendly and with one main focus, delivering 100% guest satisfaction. The food at the gala ball was excellent, and there were over 400 guests attending. That didnt affect the quality at all. I would very strongly recommend the hotel for its new years eve ball. Its a fantastic town, with great pubs and restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Overall an outstanding hotel experience.
