Spent one night in Ocean Lodge in August and would not return. If I had realised that it really is 'rooms over a pub' I wouldn't have booked in. The bar assistant got the keys from behind the bar and told us how to find our way to the bedrooms. After the Ocean Lodge experience realise that websites can be misleading. The site gives the impression of welcome and comfort. The single bedroom that I was given at the back of the house was utilitarian, small, dark and gloomy - although spotlessly clean. We had a reasonably good meal when we arrived in the evening and were glad of that because Ocean Lodge is a long way from any other place to eat. Even though the setting is magnificent was keen to get away as early as possible in the a.m.
