Excellent mix of singing, dancing and stand-out musicians. A special mention has to be the Banjo solo by Michael Healy - it was sensational. And to be backed up by such great musicians as his brother, sister, Cora Smyth and Sean Horsman made that 5 min instrumental worth the hefty €25 worthwhile.
Pierce was an excellent host too, funny, interactive, trying to get as many people in the audience - both Irish and visitors - involved.
On the negative side, the show is lost on children so I wouldn't bring them. The stage is tiny, it's not an auditorium or theatre and the production itself doesn't tell a intuitive story in any way.
