Description: An Port Mor Restaurant is run by Chef-Proprietor Frankie Mallon. Our philosophy is to use seasonal, artisan produce from local suppliers. House specialities include pot roasted pigs cheeks with black pudding & apple and vanilla sauce and 21 day dry-aged sirloin. The main emphasis is, however, on local fresh seafood and shellfish, particularly lobster, crab, scallops and langoustines fresh from the west coast of Ireland, especially Clew Bay.

Dined here a year ago with my daughters and returned with my husband this evening Once again a wonderful meal, beautifully presented and every morsel was delicious. Lovely varied menu with something for everyone. Service was professional and warm. It's wonderful to experiance such quality dining for a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

“A little gem !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013 via mobile

Visited here the other night while on mid term break in Westport. Booked here as it was no. 1 on tripadvisor and after eating here can see why. Excellent food and excellent staff. Hopefully someday I'll get to sample more of their menu. Fantastic

“Still a first class restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

Visited on the evening of October 24th without a reservation, but fortunately a cancellation meant we were in luck for a table for two. Had eaten here several times before, but not for at least a year. Happy to say that the quality of the meal, service and ambiance remains top class. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and the attention to detail of the table layout & food presentation was great. As we have been disappointed with a few other restaurants in Westport, it was nice to see that the standard on An Port Mor remains high.

“Great food and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I went here on our first night in Westport. We were pleased to get a table with only 30 mins notice. Staff were very friendly. We shared prawns to start followed by steak and monkfish for main. The vegetable sides were amazing. The Sweet potato gratin was my favourite. I couldn't resist having the sticky toffee pudding to finish and I was not disappointed. It was yummy! Would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in Westport.

“Excellent food in a cosy atmospheric restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

My wife and i dined here on the 13th of october. The food was excellent and the room was cosy and a joy to dine in.We felt like we were in some little spanish restaurant. The lamb was simple but superb and my wifes cod was fabulous. This is a must if you visit westport. I would say that an port mor and la Bella Vita are tied for first place for westports top eaterie. Happy eating, its worth a try.
