“Best Westport Hotel Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

Myself and husband stayed here from the 23rd of July to the 26th. We were upgraded to an Executive room 333 I think, (4 poster bed, jacuzzi bath, plasma screen tv with Sky Sports for the hubbie!). Breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the hotel which included various little tasters. Really great touches. Best Westport hotel we've stayed in.

Myself and 6 friends stayed in Mill Times Hotel over the weekend for 2 nights. We were greeted by a very pleasant Girl called Geraldine on reception who took very good care of us while we stayed there. Because of a few mix up's caused by myself and my friends, I had to sort out things to do with our rooms and Geraldine was also very helpful when we spoke on the phone before our arrival. The rooms were nice and spacious and the breakfast was lovely. You are smack bang in Westport Town when you stay at this hotel, right beside some great pubs and resturants. Westport is a fantastic place to visit and Mill Times Hotel is a lovley homely hotel, we will definetely be staying there again.

Have just returned home after spending 2 nights at Mill Times Hotel. Firstly, Geraldine on reception was very friendly and helpful. I had spoken to her previously by phone and she was also very friendly and professional on phone. Myself and my friend were staying for 2 nights BB and wanted a hotel which was within walking distance of all Westport's amenities and this Hotel was perfect. The room was located at back of Hotel which wasn't a problem for us, as Geraldine said it would be quieter because there was a music festival on at the weekend. The room was clean and although it was a smoking room as we had requested, there was no smell of smoke whatsoever. The restaurant was fully booked on Saturday night and we had intended to eat there, but we were more than happy with the bar food we received. Breakfast was also very good and the staff on duty were very friendly. Overall, we both enjoyed our stay and intend to return before the end of the year. If anyone is looking for a hotel in the centre of everything then the Mill Times Hotel is perfect, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Quick pick of the Mill Times (thks TA) when we heard this particular Westport weekend was super busy. Holy mountain climbs, music festivals and French school holidays. Was almost a random choice, but it's gorgeous , suprisingly handy for our Galway bus drop off , and at least 20 music bars incl. Matt Malloys. Service fab, Irish staff a plenty, loads of easy access electrical slots in the room not to mention hi power working wifi throughout. Westport is charming btw. Curves curls and green fields walks aplenty heading on one now to the quays. Irish wedding greeted us and seems to be free of tour groups. :-)..

Checkin was efficient, the room was clean and neat. This wasn't the most amazing hotel I have stayed at and I didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant however it was pretty good. The rooms were nice, and for a small town I was happy with it. Would stay again if in Westport in future.

Having just returned from our stay at the Mill Times Hotel I could not fault the place at all.
We were a group of six mates on a short walking trip to Westport and after climbing the local mountain Croagh Patrick the hotel bar was a great place to return to for a well deserved and relaxing pint in pleasant surroundings with good bar staff.
Our bedrooms were spotless with comfy beds and we had really powerful showers to help our aching muscles after our climb.
The food was excellent with a vast amount of choice for breakfasts and our evening meal was also very enjoyable with the added treat of little surprise dishes being served between courses.
The Staff were all extremley friendly and very efficient in their individual roles but I must mention Geraldine on reception who was really pleasant and a mindfull of helpful information.
