“Excellent food, not cheap though”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Have been to Freddy's twice in the last year.
The quality of the food is excellent. While the menu might not contain a large variety of items what is on the menu is very tasty.
The restaurant is on the small side, so if the place is busy tables are very close to each other.
Would recommend Freddy's but beware it is not cheap

“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We came across this restaurant based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. The food was one of the best meals I had in Ireland. The staff were so helpful and attentive. I would go out of my way to eat here again.

“Still holding its own”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Dined in Freddy's about 2 weeks before Xmas. Restaurant was busy but service was excellent & friendly. Food as always was very good. Each of the 4 of us enjoyed our meal & prices weren't bad either especially for this time of year. I would like to see more changes to the menu as some of the dishes on offer have been on the menu for years. However I have never been disappointed with the food in this restaurant. Proof of it holding its own is obvious with people waiting for tables. Also ,recently I tried to book this restaurant for a group of 16 people ,two weeks in advance & they were booked out ! That speaks for itself.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Went to Freddys after the Munster vs Ulster match and it was as good as we remembered!

Excellent "Christmas Menu", great wine (and not too overpriced), amazing service and the most attentive Maitre "D" ever

Cangt wait to go back when we are back in Limerick (hopefully with a better result and no monsoon outside)

Amazing restaurant - much better than anything in the "relaxed dining" range anywhere else in Ireland!
