I had a late eve appointment at Barrington's hospital so I treated myself to a night's stay. From the moment of arrival, everything was perfect and made my trip so much more than I was expecting. The receptionist, Milda was extremely kind and when I was worried about passing noise outside my room as I am a very light sleeper and there was a big party on at the hotel, she kindly gave me a room (which was an upgrade) at the end of the corridor which was lovely, and was very helpful in helping me move my things, giving me directions to the hospital and to the shops the next morning. I would most definitely return and make a weekend of it with my partner, next time I am in Limerick and have recommended the hotel to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff at this stylish hotel which emodies a high level of customer care that was most appreciated, particularly as on this occasion I was a solo female guest.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view and a higher floor as the hotel seems very popular and you could have party/con...

I stayed here recently with my partner when we went to a rugby match in thomand park.its ideal and only a short walk away.the receptionist was very friendly and approachable.our room was extrememly inviting and comfortable with a real sense of value for money.nice big shower and the beds were so comfy that i wanted to stay another night.breakfast was a feast and definately worth the ten euro charge.only negative thing to mention is we were charged for parking which i dont think should be the case when you are paying for a hotel.i would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just back from a short stay at the Absolute hotel and Spa,a belated birthday treat purchased through city deal.I am happy to recommend the hotel .From the reception staff to the waiting staff in the dining room ,all was faultless. We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were of a very high standard. The Locke bar some 100 metres away has music seen nights a week and was also a very pleasant experience. The room we took was an upgrade for a minimal charge and has beautiful views of the Shannon and the surrounding countryside.Very spacious and airy and excellent en suite facilities

We stayed in the Absolute Hotel & Spa in Oct 2011.
The Hotel walking distance from the city center with a nice view of the city & river.
Our room was relaxing with quirky lights, good comfy bed and a decent shower.
Our Package included access to the Spa, which brought our views on the hotel way down.
The Spa just seamed like a dark damp dungeon, with not that much in it.
There was water on the floorand to be fair there was a girl working on her best to clean it up it seamed to be back damp a few minutes later. The Staff were very helpful but not much you could do with the place.
Perhaps if we went for a treatment it may be better.
We also had dinner in the hotel and were not expecting the standard we got.
It was amazing! the Staff were great, and the food was just so good and well presented.
Overall I would go back here again if staying in limerick.

Room Tip: The hotel does have free parking, but not that many spaces.. If you are going into Limerick Park ea...

Only stayed one night but huge room, very modern finishes in bathroom, no expense spared in decor. Modern and interesting design. Staff friendly and courteous. Business meeting rooms at american executive board room levels, all av equip worked fluidly and staff faultless. A bit dark at night outside front door and eco-friendly lighting of foyer and corridors ethically sound but visually spooky. Otherwise a real gem in the city centre.
