“Really good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

My wife and I ate here this evening, and it really was fab. We eat out a lot so you know good food when you get it and Piccola is one of the nicest Italians around for sure.
Price is very good also.

“Great little joint”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

We found this place while walking around the city and took a chance on it. It had a great little atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food we had was great and they had a wide range of specials and the prices were very reasonable. Worth the visit.

“Tasty Italian Food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

This is a lovely restaurant, with great food and service which tends to be overlooked because of its location as its based in a cellar, which is easly passed by, but once you find it you will def return if you like good italian dishes.

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Found this little gem by accident. You go down stairs to the basement area and you ring the bell for entry how intriguing. Once you enter its like by gone days tables with linen and proper silver cutlery a warm smile and welcoming gesture from your host as she ushers you to a table. I knew we were on to a winner when I realized the other diners were all locals. The menu had all the favorites one of mine being a prawn cocktail. The quality of the food was outstanding and the portions so big I regretted the starter and could not manage a pudding. all washed down with a bottle house red. What ever you do do not miss this hidden gem. (We dined there three times during our 5 day stay) you may need pre-book weekends.
