I enjoyed my stay in the lyrath for 3 nights. Lovely grounds and nice country walks. I had dinner on two nights and the food was very good when compared to 5 star hotels it stood up with them. Great wine selection. Breakfast was wonderful, great selection. Bar is cozy with beautiful views of the garden. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom. Very clean throughout.
My only disappointment came was with the leisure centre. The steam room, sauna was out of order. The towel I got was worn with holes in it, definitely not a good standard. Total let down. For this one aspect I have not returned, pity.
