“Great Sandwiches; not Conjoined Bread”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

A great variety of fresh, tasty and filling sandwiches that ensured you're both satisfied and well nourished for long day in the office, the van or on the site. Now in it's second generation of family ownership, they're still making great sandwiches, rolls, blaas, other bits and bobs. All out of a shop not much bigger than a phone booth.

Best coffee in Kilkenny - FACT. Tea & a flapjack - €2.00. Balkan prices.

Phone in your order in advance and rush by and collect it 20 minutes later.

Once upon a time, spiced beef was only eaten at Christmas in Kilkenny. Now you can get it all the time and it's packs a powerful sambo with iceberg salad, some onions and a good lash of mustard or horse radish sauce. Thanks to Blaa Blaa Blaa.

Great sambos on a shoestring, save a couple of euro every day and get the news of the day with a "twist". If O'Brien's went this route, they'd be still there. They chose to dupe ordinary lads and lasses with conjoined "doorsteps".

“Excellent find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

This small cafe is an excellent little place to get a sandwich to takeaway and eat in the castle grounds! It's tiny but i would highly recommend a visit as you can pretty much order whatever sandwich/ wrap/ toastie you feel like!

“Home of the best take out sandwiches in kilkenny city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

Kilkenny's smallest sandwich bar but without a doubt, the best sandwiches in town. It gets it's name from the floury bread roll they serve " the Blaa." All sort, shapes and size of sandwich available with just about any filling. Fresh home baking every day, Thursdays are my favourite, Brownie day :0) certainly worth a visit whilst in the marble city.
