this is a unique and must visit spot if you are in the area.
Firstly you dont have to pay to take advantage of the beautiful lake side walk, about 1 km. Just watching the wildlife around is so breath taking and peaceful. Sit on a bench and let the world go by. There are paddle boats on this lake at a charge if you are interested.
If you are hungry the cafe is superb. Great food and not too pricey.
Now if you are interested in visiting the inside of the centre with its AV presentations and wildlife park, you have to pay, I forget what the charge is but not ott. For the fee you get an AV presentation and a 15 min boat cruise. Our guide was a local fellow, most knowledgable, informative and funny. you can visit and climb the viewing tower and watch the birds from the viewing posts. worth a visit once anyway as it was unique.
So how do they improve. difficult but I thought the toilets were just not up to standard as regards cleanliness for such a top class attraction. Maybe I hit it on a bad day, but I was not impressed in this area. When will venues realise that nearly every visitor will call to the loo and tend to judge a places cleanliness from these few moments!!!.
Overall then well worth at least one visit and splash out on the pedal boats and/or the wildlife centre. Unique!"!
