“Great start to 15 day journey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Meadowlands Hotel was the right accommodation for the start of our journey. Southwest of Shannon International Airport, it is on the northern land end of the Dingle Peninsula and allowed us to travel counter-clockwise around the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland without back-tracking. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the hotel was attractively appointed. Breakfast was very good. The hotel got us off to a positive start, and I highly recommend it.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. It's situated just 1 km outside town centre, 15 minute walk or taxi if prefer. Large hotel, very nice bar and breakfast room/restaurant. The bedrooms are large and spacious with air conditioning and comfortable bed. Free wireless in room and hotel public areas. Staff were all very friendly and accomodating, nothing was a problem for them. They were very professional and willing to help in any way they can. Definitely recommend this hotel for a stay as it's very quiet and relaxing and being situated just out from town, town can be very noisy especially during festival times and late pub closing times.

I am writing this on behalf of my parents. They stayed with the Meadowlands last week and had a wonderful time. So we would like to say thank you to Nigel, Siobhan, Claire and all the staff for making their stay so special. The room was lovely and the food was great. They couldnt ask for more. They will be returning soon !

A really lovely hotel just a five minute walk from the centre of Tralee. Rooms were lovely and clean with airconditioning. It's in a little from the road so you can't hear any of the traffic. Very good value and nice breakfast selection. Would definately stay here again!

Very nice hotel, comfortable setting situated off a main road so no traffic noise.
The service we got was very good, waiting time in the restaurant for breakfast was minimal. Food quality was excellent.
Bedroom was very comfortable. The general decor was a bit tired looking, but the ambience of the hotel made up for that. Could not eat in bar to to the noise of the trad entertainment on first night of stay. Second night bar food only but quality was good. Bathroom in my room needed to be refurbished.

Had Lunch Here last Saturday , Restaurant was not open , so we had to eat in the Bar , Waitress
could not bother to show us where the Bar was , she was more intrested in talking to her friend.
The choice of food from the Menu was at best limited , the main course was cold and bland , the
french fries tasted foul and nasty , Cheap Cheap, . The restaurant was empty only 4 people were having Lunch ,we could see why it was not worth the effort eating here .
It is not a 4 star hotel more like a 2 star , will never go back to this Motel , advoid at all costs .
