Spent a week-end there with a group of hill-walkers from Co. Wexford (40 in total). Every member enjoyed their stay and the attention to detail was excellent. We were looked after very well and all staff (especially Martin) were very helpful and patient with us. Would certainly recommend a stay there to anyone who is visiting the Tralee area as the hotel is very central to all amenities.

"I recently had a great stay at the Imperial Hotel with my partner. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and smiling staff who could not do enough to help. The location of the hotel is second to none in Tralee town, its is right in the heart of the town near a beautiful town park which we utilised for a morning run on one of days. With the shops and many good pubs only a stones throw from the Hotel, we were spoilt for choice for things to do. On one of our nights, we did not need to leave the hotel as there is a lovely little traditional style Irish bar downstairs which had a really good one man band to add to the atmosphere.

We had lunch and dinner in the hotel at different stages over the duration of our stay also and the food was top class. I had a Vol au Vent for my lunch which was so fresh and tasty, while my partner had a chicken curry which smelt divine!! Our dinner there on our second evening was just as good, I had a fish dish and my other half had steak - both dishes fantastic!!

The room are a good size and so clean and airy, with very comfortable beds. We had all the room facilities we needed and staff were always on hand to help us out if we required anything.

The only slight issue we had was that parking is at a premium at this hotel with only a small car park at rear of hotel. However, there was plenty of on street parking available right outside the hotel too so this wasnt a huge problem for us really.

I would highly recommend the Imperial Hotel not alone for the fantastic location but for the friendly and efficient staff and the beautiful food. Great value for money and will definately be returning!"

This is a lovely hotel, situated very conveniently, in the centre of the town. It's in a very old, historic part of the town. The bedrooms are moderate in size, though fine for us : the room was an old traditional style with high ceilings and the original style sash windows.
The staff are so friendly - particularly one of the bar staff, Anthony. My wife and myself spent an hour chatting with him about everything from the Irish economy to the great places to visit in Ireland. My mother was also staying at the hotel, and he treated her like a special lady - What a great guy.
Breakfast was great also - we have family here, so will definitely come back again

Stayed in this hotel over the weekend. We were visiting relations and only needed a base as we were out most of the time. Reception was very professional and friendly and the room on the third floor (we sang climb every mountain each time we tackled the stairs) was bright and airy and overlooked the street. There does not seem to be aircon so we had to leave the window open. There was little noise from the street outside and we got a good nights sleep on both nights. The night porter is very friendly and there was no problem getting a nightcap.
The hotel is very central and we paid €69 each for 2 nights room only in a twin room. Great value.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the first floor as there is no lift.

We stayed in the Imperial for the long weekend and we found this hotel very clean and pleasant.

Its a very old building so there was no lift. At first we were given room 331 and told we could change the following day as this room was on the third floor. The room was very small and definitely not big enough to be called a double room.
The next morning we asked to be moved and we were given a lovely room on the second floor.
The Dining Room was beautiful and bright and the food excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. ~This Hotel is in a great location and easy to walk to shops restaurants and pubs.

Room Tip: Ask not to be given room 331... !!!!!
