“Moderately hard and very scenic bike ride from Killarney.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013 via mobile

After biking for most of the afternoon we have the bright idea to bike up to the Gap of Dunloe. It was a scenic ride and enjoyable.

“Mystical beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

The steep rugged mountains topped with clouds and mist created an ethereal other world experience. We hired a jaunting cart and driver for this trip. Our driver could not have possibly been more quintessentially Irish. The weather was cold, windy and misty, but that only added to the desolate rugged beauty of the place. We all felt that this was one of the main highlights of our Ireland vacation.

“Pony Trap Ride Through the Gap”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Interesting scenery and geology. The pony trap ride was quite an experience! Dress in layers for this trip. It can be cold and windy on one side and bright and sunny on the other

“Great Spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

The Gap of Dunloe is a great spot to pass through. We took a drive through it and there were some great sights and it was a very interesting drive. I would highly recommend the area for a drive.
