“Well worthwhile!”

We were attending an event at the NEC, so the Riverside was located perfectly for this ... approximately five minutes' walk from door to door. The hotel is lovely - in a pretty setting close to the river, but with the town still very accessible. The room was very comfortable, well decorated and furnished, and had a dual aspect (although this view was straight onto the carpark and meant that it was a little noisy).
I have to say that I thought the food at dinner was absolutely first class - especially since it was included in the overall package, which worked out at about Euro 250 altogether - that's for two nights' accommodation, two breakfasts and two three-course dinners ... really good value and with no corners cut.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. They were experiencing problems with their wireless internet facilities during our stay and offered free use of the computer at reception to make up for this.
All in all, a great place to stay, everyone had a smile and it was excellent value for money. If I were to stay there again, I would probably ask for a different room because it was noisy, but that's my only complaint.

“Fantactic”

We stays on a three night package and we had the most
fantastic 3 days. The peace and tranquility of the hotel
was second to none.

Firist impressions are always the best and one could not
ask for better, the reception area is fantastic the most
striking feature has to be the lighting. Each piece of
furtniture is differant and all very comfortable. The welcome
fantastic and efficient. Bedrooms are very comfortable and
beauitfully decorated.

When booking this hotel although I booked for dinner we
realy did not think we would eat the 3 nights there but what
a surprise the food was second to none and our compliments
to the chef.
I must comiment on the temperature in the hotel it was not
the stuffy heat usually experienced in hotels but extremely fresh
and the same temperature all the time.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hope to return again.

Thank you enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is cooked to demand and is excellent.
Evening meals are also very good.
It's worth asking for a river view as these rooms are more pleasant and quieter.
Altogether a v. pleasant 3 night stay.

Stayed here for a two night break. The hotel is about a 12 minute walk from the town so not too far away. The nicest part of the hotel is the reception/lobby area. The rooms are just ok a bit on the small side and I honestly don't think that the hotel deserves its four star rating. I have to say that the hotel is not bad. Would I stay here again probably not. There are nicer hotels nearer the town.

“Very Nice Hotel!”

We recently stayed at the Riverside Hotel for two nights. The hotel is very well-appointed, a nice lobby, very good restaurant and a nice pub. On-site parking is more than adequate.

We were upgraded at no charge to a suite, and it was very nice. A large screen television and free internet are included in the amenities. The hotel breakfast which we bought as part of a B&B package was especially good. Staff were very friendly and helpful; this was tested because our telephone stopped working on the 2nd morning of our stay, and they made every effort to please us. The negatives (other than the telephone outage) were minor. We strongly recommend the Riverside.
