Hotel was beautiful. Rooms are fine and big. Food and staff were lovely. Was at a wedding and the staff wore white gloves while serving which I thought was a lovely touch. The view from the hotel is amazing especially on a sunny day. Very relaxed stay.

Room Tip: We had a family room which was very spacious. Only 2 floors and lift also available.

As i was running and racing this day i found it easier for me to call them to make the booking. It was to benefit me as i got it at a reduced price over the online price on bookings.com. On arrival which was late the staff were brilliant. Could not help be enough. I was allocated a ground floor room that was smart and clean.
It was late and I nearly murdered a cuppa but on finding the means of making one there was no milk. Of i went to the desk and i was given a lovely jug of fresh milk.
I slept like a baby it was so peaceful. (oh do baby's sleep:) ) I woke and headed for breakfast. It was totally self service. Down to the coffee and tea. There was a massive choice. The only complaint would be the bacon was too dry in that it was a bit long in the hot plate (bacon is a dry meat but when i say dry i mean old dry) But that is nothing. Highly recommend this place

Room Tip: ask on arrival at the hotel for the wifi code as its not in the room

good food, nice rooms and close to all amenities, stayed here with family on vacation from US and used the hotel as a base while we toured the ring of Kerry and surrounding area. Close to Lake and we could go for a lakeside walk in the lake hotel across the road

We stayed here for one night on Valentine's weekend. Our room was lovely, very clean. We had a 3 course meal in the restaurant & the food was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. Very friendly staff, so helpful & obliging. Will definitely stay here again.

From planning , tasting menu , to the actual day , the Killarney Oaks were brilliant . We had a group of about 200 and they looked after us so well . Each person was treated as an individual and all our friends were loud in their praise for all aspects of their stay at the Oaks . Staff were very welcoming and helpful , rooms were top quality truly good 4 star standard and the function room was beautifully laid out . The team at Killarney Oaks made our Family wedding a truly memorable day . Thank you again to Richard ( who is the essence of calm) and his team . Could not recommend you higher .

Took 11 people to the Oaks on Mothers day. Had a lovely lunch. The room was a delight and the staff a pleasure to deal with. The food was lovely and plenty of same (well, almost : ) giving a 6foot man a small egg and greens as egg mayo brought the house down with laughing) Apart from that slight blip we all had more than enough to eat. The deserts!!!! wow, who ever was on duty in the Kitchen had art and good food on a plate. After chatting in the lobby for the evening, the free tea and coffee for the road home was a lovely surprise and most welcome. Flowers for the Moms at the table was a lovely idea. A request for an extra flower for a special needs "mom" was acted on with a smile and flourish by a delightful young lady who served us at table 21. Many thanks to all for making a special day, that extra special. Small things like a smile, a cuppa or flower brings us back once again.

Dear mary1664

Thank you for choosing The Killarney Oaks Hotel for your Mother's Day celebration recently. I'm delighted to hear that you appreciated the décor and the set up of our banqueting suite on the day. I'm sorry to hear that the big guy didn't have enough to eat in his starter but if he calls into me at any stage I can make sure he gets another one:) but seriously, I'm glad that you took it in good humour and enjoyed your day. It's fantastic to hear that you enjoyed your meal and I will pass your brilliant comments onto the dessert section in the kitchen, they will be overjoyed with the mention.
We pride ourselves in our customer service and I'm delighted to hear that that your requests were met with smiles and also that you enjoyed your cuppa in the lobby before heading home with your fresh flowers. I agree it's the small things that can make all the difference and thank you from all of us here for acknowledging our efforts. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back here once again.

Kind Regards
Richard Halpin

The staff are very friendly and helpful also and they had a lovely touch by giving all the mums a flower in leaving. Well done the Oaks

Dear luluabel

Thank you for joining us on our Mother's day celebration this year. We are delighted that you enjoyed your day and had the opportunity to sample one of the desserts from our gluten free range. We are conscious that there are increasing numbers of coeliac's in present times and we have adapted of menus to offer everyone a choice of dishes regardless of their dietary requirements. We're glad you enjoyed your day and also the gift of a fresh flower. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Kind Regards
