“Best in Ireland without doubt.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

Have been to Quinlans on numerous occasions. We visit Killarney regularly and eat there very often. The service is top class. I love to see people who work hard doing well and in Liam Quinlan, you have someone who works so hard at his business and I applaud him for it. He meets and greets when he is not busy catching the fish and has a friendly word for everyone. The rest of his staff are top class and Liam has them all well trained and attentive to every detail.
Back to the food - what can I say ? Quinlan's fish and chip shop really is the best in Ireland. When you see a queue outside a restaurant that tells it's own story.
Try the battered prawns - you will NOT be disappointed.
I'd highly recommend Quinlans and can't wait to eat in it again. Don't miss your chance to get the best fish and chips in Ireland when you're in Killarney. I live a fair bit away but would nearly drive one errand.

“Fabulous and fresh, its not just a fishy story!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014 via mobile

Been in Killarney lots of times, as we live in the next-door county of Cork, but for some reason (probably there are so many restaurants to choose from) we had not visited Quinlan's before. Talk about keeping the good wine until last, the quality was unbelievable, we both had the cod, which was thick and flaky, with a delicious light batter. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. However the restaurant is a victim of its own success as it can be very busy at peak times, and you might be waiting a little while to be seated. The wait will be well worth it. Top marks all round. We will be back!

“Delicious fish and chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

We just got takeaway fish and chips from Quinlans but it was really lovely. So fresh. Came with lemon wedges and tartare sauce - I guess that's the difference between a 'chippy' and seafood restaurant. Will definitely be back next year.

“Great seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

Some of the best meals are had in places you might not expect it at. This seafood gem came highly recommended on TA and with good reason. Simple, layout- the food is sales pitch. You get GREAT food and that is what counts. If you are looking for warm ambiance, go elsewhere. If you want great seafood for a good price- come here!

“Great food WOW, social skills needed.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

We ate here and had four different dishes and they were all fantastic. You will not go wrong eating here. Make a reservation if you can. The girls seating/serving could use a smile on their face that is my only complaint.
