“Do not miss!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

We were here in February so it was pretty quiet of tourists. The drive round the ring of Kerry leads you through part of the park. We stopped at the Ladies View, spectacular!! Next day we took a jaunting cart ride through the park to Ross castle. We saw red deer in the fields! What a gem of a place. I would have loved to stayed in Killarney the whole time and hiked around these hills! We had exceptionally nice weather at the end of February, not a drop of rain and sunny, cold days. If you stay in Killarney you have the town center with shops and pubs, but a stones throw from the park and the wonder of this land.

“A great place to get some fresh air”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Muckross is a huge garden for adults and children to safely roam in. You can walk or cycle for miles with breathtaking views all around. I will never tire of what Killarney has to offer.

A must see experience, very peaceful and much wildlife for all. A vast area and much to explore. They offer boat trips on the lakes and many walking and cycling routes, its a beautiful place to visit. We visited in February and were blessed with great weather!

“Amazing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We visiting Killarney National Park on a chilly February morning and walked for hours through the various trails, up to Torc Waterfall, climbed up over the waterfall and through gorgeous scenery. The views are really just beautiful and you have to appreciate the natural beauty of this place. The Park is massive; expanding over mountainous terrain and over the lake. The grass areas and various attractions are maticulously maintained. It is a lovely way to spend a few hours getting back to nature and getting good fresh air and exercise. The jaunting cars are plentiful but very pricey at €30 for two people to go 2 miles - we gave it a miss and walked. Didnt do the tour of Muckross house but it looked beautiful. This place is definately worth spending a few hours at when visiting Killarney.
