“Friendy, caring & accommodating!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

This place is a little off the beaten path but a 5 minute walk into downtown! They have a lovely sitting room with public wifi, very capable and helpful staff and the rooms were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a gorgeous room with a four poster bed. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with all queries and advice regarding local tourist attractions.
They had menus available for restaurants in town also which was very handy.

This is an excellent hotel with very friendly staff. It is an easy 10 minute walk to downtown. We stayed twice, once with family andonce with friends and we loved the hotel both times. If you are driving the hotel is located just a half block off a major road so it is very quiet but accessible for travel.

We found this hotel to be very cosy, clean, luxurious and warm. Upon our arrival we were given a free upgrade on our room, which was very homely and grand. There was a 4 poster bed, a fireplace and even a jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and the staff were very friendly and provided an efficient service. Killarney town is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the journey itself is most pleasant. Additional extras such as newspapers and afternoon tea were most welcome (free of charge) and an array of information on local amenities was readily available. The decor in the hotel was very pleasant and we felt that there was a very homely feeling. The owners were very helpful and really went that extra mile to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Negatives were only minor, the room was a little dark and the television was a little small in relation to the size of the room. Overall though, we would highly recommend that you stay in this hotel.

The folks here helped us so much during our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean with older but perfectly kept furniture. When we ate breakfast, it was wonderful. We got a 24 hour bug the first day in Killarney. We were violently ill but they helped make us comfortable until the illness passed. They went out of their way to get us tea or water, or whatever we needed during that trying time. After we felt better, we were grateful that we were with such caring people. The first day we could eat again, they had hot tea and delicious cakes for us in their living room. If you are in Killarney, stay here.

Earl's Court House is just off the main road into Killarney from Muckross House. It is very quiet at night and close enough to walk to town. Very spacious rooms and especially large bath. Breakfast is quite good but can be crowded if you need to eat early. Staff very accommodating and they keep a wide selection of area restaurant menus available.
