“Well placed.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2014

Not positioned exactly as we imagined when we booked we found it welcoming and friendly. Good food and good service. Rooms large and clean. We did have some problems - broken loo flush, bathroom extractor not working, cracked basin, however these were small compared with the overall experience. Aziz worked hard to ensure we were happy and satisfied, and we would go back. Being a short walk from town kept us away from the noisy centre. A pool and spa on site.

Such a great hotel with old world charm and ambiance and yet so modern in every way you would expect. Room was lovely and staff completely helpful and friendly. Short walk to town was brilliant. Would love to return. Highly recommend.

We came here for 6 days around New Year's Eve 2013. The location is perfect... a short, beautiful stroll from the town center and Killarney National Park. The hotel has romantic antique furnishings for "Old World charm" ambiance. This theme was carried into our room, but the bath was very modern. Without even asking, at check-in we were upgraded to a more deluxe room which included a view of the mountains. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious and the menu was extensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed working out my tired muscles in the the lap pool and sauna. It was the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the experience. All staff were very friendly and obliging. The decor in the hotel was really magnificant with old style furniture and displayed some beautiful touches to the highly ornate rooms. Many of the rooms also had stunning classical celiling covings. The food was excellent and loved the wide range of breakfast choices. Overall a truely great experience and looking forward to paying another visit soon.

Stayed there last weekend and had a great time. The hotel was so clean and the rooms was so relaxing. The power shower was amazing. The rooms were always warm and the staff never said no and we so nice. Have no bad things to say about this hotel. The location was perfect, five minutes walk from the train station. I will definitely be back.
