I really can't fault this hotel. It's perfect, central location and a wonderrful oasis in a busy town. We loved the pub, lobby and the staff had complete Irish charm. Yes - go there if you can afford it.

From the moment we checked in we were looked after by really friendly and polite staff. Our room was comfortable and spotless. We had a meal on the first night of our stay which was exceptional. Breakfast was also excellent. The leisure centre was lovely. Overall was a perfect weekend break.

I stayed in this hotel as a surprise treat from my partner. The hotel was top class, the service was excellent, the rooms were very spacious and clean. We only ate in the hotel for breakfast and it was excellent. The location was right in the centre of everything but not too close whereby you would hear any noise from outside etc.

After reviewing several hotels in Killarney we decided to go with the Killarney Park Hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely member of staff you checked us in, brought us to our room and showed us how everything worked in the room, our bags followed by the bell boy. The hotel had given us a free upgrade to a suite since it was part of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. The room was asboluley fabulous, you have a seperate sitting area with a big flat screen TV, at the end of your bed you also have a press were you click a remote control and another flat screen TV comes out which was great as we loved watching TV in bed. The bathroom was huge, with his & her sinks, a big bath to fit both of you, a seperate shower and also the toilet was seperate with its own door. I do have to say, the doors into the bathroom & toilet are the cutess thing i have ever seen with the little windows and curtains, just lovely. Your room is cleaned every morning without delay and also the turn down service was great.
We had breakfast each morning, which was lovely and had a great choice. We had one meal in the restaurant on our first night and i have to say the service was excellent and the food did not let us down, the meal was gorgeous. We also ate in the bar one night for our dinner and the food again was great. One thing i would have to point out, i love a nice glass of wine, but for one glass in the bar cost €7.50 which i think is too expensive but apart from that every was wonderful. I also could not fault the staff at this hotel as they were very friendly and helpful.
I cannot wait to go back to this hotel and i will be recommending it to my friends.

Stayed for 3 nights in this hotel, which is situated in the centre of Killarney. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a cold January but there were numerous cosy fires lit throughout the day in the lobby and bar areas. The cuisine in the bar and restaurant was excellent (though not inexpensive).

Overall we had a lovely break in the Killarney Park and would love to go back again.

This must be our fifth or sixth annual visit to the Killarney Park Hotel and it never fails to impress. I think it is the staff that make the difference - right from arrival at the front door they are welcoming, friendly and kind. They are genuine.

The Hotel itself is a haven of calm in the centre of town. We have never stayed in a better hotel in all our travels to date. The food is excellent, particularly breakfast which is worth setting an hour aside to fully enjoy! The central location means that you can walk everywhere and if you need to drive the car is brought to the door should you wish. The pool and spa are excellent as well.

There is little to fault - the lunch and dinner prices in the Garden Bar are a little steep, especially if with a family so if you are not eating in the wonderful restaurant think about walking into town which may be better value.

All in all you cannot go wrong - yes it is not cheap but you pay for what you get. Good rooms, great food, good location.

We had a slightly disappointing start to our stay at The Killarney Park Hotel. There was no parking when we arrived so we squashed the car into a little space in the corner at the back of the hotel, no valet parking offered! The room wasn't ready on arrival and it didn't qualify for a 5 star deluxe room rating in my opinion, compared to the likes of the 5 Star Ritz Carlton. We went to the bar for lunch and was asked by the manager to move as he was keeping the table for people who were outside watching the rugby match which I thought was very rude. I found the food reasonably priced but alcohol very expensive. On the plus side the escort to the room, hotel porter and restaurant staff and food were amazing. For a 5 star hotel the menu was quite limited but the food was delicious. The leisure facilities and staff were excellent, apart from the lack of a steam room. The hotel is in a excellent location, right in the heart of Killarney.
