“excellent staff and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2011

We had our christening in kaynes restaurant in early April. The food, service and staff were just fantastic. The managers Mike Talbot and Brendan Murphy were so attentive and made our day very special, right down to personalising the menu and being very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend it.

“A wonderful experience!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2010

We were on our honnymoon and stopped there to eat dinner. Food, atmosphere, and service was awesome. First time in Ireland and couldn't ask for a better time. We even stopped there another time to eat because of the wonderful time that showed us how great Ireland is........compared to the States. Thank you and we do plan on coming back to Ireland and stopping at Kaynes! Met kayne outside and we talked to him for awhile and noticed what made this place a great place. Thank you Kayne!

from the honnymooners from the States!

“Finally, a Killarney restaurant that cares about food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2010

After a very rough restaurant experience in Killarney, we happened upon Kayne's. We went to the downstairs pub, which is reasonably priced and offers excellent variety. My mom ordered the burger and I got the soup of the day and a salad. The service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. We didn't have room for dessert, but they also had a great dessert menu, and the sweets that we saw pass by looked great.

Most of the restaurants in Killarney all seem to offer the same menu. They offer a little of everything, from duck confit to lasagna to shepherd's pie, but the atmosphere is nonexistent and the food is sub-par. Kayne's has a focused menu and pays attention to the experience of their guests. They're on Muckross a few blocks from the town center, but trust me, the short walk/drive will be worth it, if only to escape the frenzied tourists and to enjoy a quiet dinner!
