“Good Food, Good Music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

When you enter here you can see why it is so popular. A good choice of menu at a reasonable price. The staff were busy and seemed overwhelmed at first but the wait for drinks was outweighed by the flavours one dishes,

“Very accomodating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

We were beat from driving white-knuckled on the left side of the roads, almost all of which the GPS listed as 'Unnamed Road," through hedgerows and stone walls, and walked into Danny Mann's for a drink and dinner, not realizing they hadn't even started serving dinner. It was 4:00. The young lady server [Aio...??] was SO accommodating and sweet and took care of us anyway. We enjoyed the food AND service and ended up inviting a fellow tourist to sit with us, as the place was practically empty. Lots of laughs and a wonderful stop, especially due to the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of the lovely server. Thank you!

“Good food and service, a little touristy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

Our food was good and our waitress Rebecca was very helpful. I have coeliac disease and require gluten free meals. There were very few options on the menu available to me but Rebecca was very helpful and spoke with the kitchen to let me know what I could have. I ended up with the Cajun chicken burger, but with no bun. It was very tasty. My partner had the Irish stew and enjoyed it.

We chose the Danny Mann bar because we had seen that they had live performances. The Irish Weavers played the night we were there. They were obviously very talented but it all felt very very touristy.

Overall we had a good night though.

“Fun place with live music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

I had been here on a previous trip and enjoyed it so on this trip we returned. I have never eaten dinner here so I can't review the food but for a place to enjoy traditional entertainment, it's fun. The place is quite large with two rooms, a pool table and a back room with different entertainment than out front. The first night we lucked out with a father/son duo who were excellent. The next night, it was a different person and not so good. But you can usually get seated here unlike some of the smaller venues, and if you are "mature", you won't be listening to thousands of decibels as in some of the other venues. Good fun for an evening in Killarney.

“Great night out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

Found Danny Mann's on the Main Street and only had plans to stay for dinner but didn't leave till nearly midnight! Had the best traditional Irish stew and table service from Marie was fantastic. Live music/comedy from Scottie kept everyone entertained- a great experience!
