“Absolutely lovely stay! You won't find better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Larkinley Lodge was by far the best b&b my husband and I visited in Ireland. First off, the rooms are very large and immaculately clean! The bathroom in our room was spotless and very modern. Our room was large enough to fit two more beds if needed. Toni and Danny were the most welcoming, warm hosts and they have a gorgeous home! We felt very comfortable the entire time, comfortable bed, private room and the best part was the breakfast. My husband tried his first full irish breakfast here and loved every bite. My meal was so delicious I am wishing I could eat it every morning for breakfast (fried egg on potato waffle). Toni truly appreciated every minute she spoke with us and could not have been more friendly and hospitable, all while making us feel comfortable.

We had a wonderful visit and would highly, highly recommend this b&b to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I stayed here with his parents in late September. We were greeted with a most warm welcome. Toni and Danny were amazing hosts and really went out of their way to make sure that we were looked after. They helped us plan our time in Killarney and even called and booked some tours for us to join. We also had the pleasure of meeting some of their grandchildren which really made it feel like you were being welcomed into their home and not just into a business. That said, Larkinley certainly has exacting standards on cleanliness and quality. There is absolutely nothing that I can fault them on. We were provided with spot on recommendations for restaurants and activities and had a warm place to retire to in the evening. When we returned both evenings we were able to share a glass of wine before bed in the common room which was great. The location was fantastic and close to high street by foot. We were able to park the car when we arrived and didn't need to move it again until we were ready to leave 2 days later. Breakfasts were high standard as well. I enjoyed the potato waffles both mornings while others in our group had the full Irish and scrambled eggs with tomato. We all went away feeling satisfied and full. I would not hesitate to recommend Larkinley to anyone looking for a place to stay in Killarney.

Room Tip: We stayed at the front of the house which could be somewhat noisy as it is on a busy road. Not terri...

My husband & I had the good fortune to travel throughout Ireland in September with our son and his girlfriend--our 2 night stay at Larkinley was absolutely a highlight. We were met at the door by owner Toni--a delightful woman who elevates "hospitality" to new heights. The B&B is beautiful and immaculate, with a cozy common room that allows guests to mingle if they desire. Breakfast was outstanding and offered choices to suit everyone. We had several great B&B experiences throughout this trip, but Larkinley takes first place as the best of the best. Thanks for everything Toni--we hope to make our way out to see you again!

We got here from on our journey and forgot to read the details and arrived earlier than the written check-in time... Not to worry, Toni accommodated us graciously! I don't know why anyone would have a negative view of the accommodations she provides. She is very personable, helpful and treats you right at home, without being too much in your face like a lot of B&B's do. Our room was the first room as you enter and it's not the most pleasing if you plan to stay in the room during the day (why would you though, you'll there to experience the country, right?) Anyway, she made the most of the land and it is a very comfortable and convenient place. She also suits the breakfast (very yummy at that) to your liking. The location is just on the outer edge of the town center, but a short walk. We actually just parked at the B&B and walked into town for the time we didn't spend doing the Dingle Peninsula.

From us, we highly recommend this place to stay should your journey need some rest in Killarney. (read our profile if you think our review is bogus).

We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights in September 2012. Everything about the place and Toni was a-one. Felt like one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in. The room was quiet and immaculate plus the amenities were superb! Toni is an excellent host and a fun person to talk to. For sure this is the place to stay in Killarney.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the Larkinley Lodge. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier room, amenities, and above all lovelier hosts than Danny and Toni. We feel like we now have a new family in Ireland. As for the rooms, they're modern, very well-appointed, and comfortable. Breakfast was always delicious and hearty - you'll not go away hungry! Toni was a great help in planning our days, whether on the Ring of Kerry (magnificent) or a little local dining and shopping. Please do yourself a favor and stay here when in Killarney.

We have stayed with Toni at Larkinley Lodge several times! That will be the only place we will stay in Killarney. NO NEED TO LOOK AT ANY OTHER PLACE! This is one of the best B&B's we have stayed at during our 17 times coming to Ireland! The rooms are spacious, great shower, and Toni is amazing! She is so helpful to answer any of our questions, and she has a very good breakfast!! You can walk less than a block and you are in town! GREAT LOCATION!!
Give this B&B a try--you will not be sorry!!!

Room Tip: There is not fitness center or swimming pools, could not delete the choice
