“Will be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Very warm welcome at reception by Stephanie at reception, spotless room, free car parking, great breakfast delivered by friendly room service staff made our three days in Galway worth coming back again and again. Supermarket just outside in case you need something, 5 mins drive by car from Galway city centre, motorway just 1 min away - location is excellent! There is not one negative to mention about the hotel. Oh, the beds....could not get out! :)

Room Tip: Upgrade to 4th floor if possible! Massive open rooms with comfy trendy sofas and a huge bath. Have n...

I attended a conference in the hotel. There is a great sense of fresh cleanliness throughout the hotel. They have excellent conference facilities, including free, reliable and easily accessible wifi. Bedroom was very comfortable. Good choice of food for breakfast.

Had a wonderful stay last weekend. Hotel was spot on - convenient, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, just what was needed for a short stay in Galway. Had executive room, super size with separate dining/living space, well worth upgrading. Special thanks goes to Stephanie, she was so welcoming, check-in was seamless, quick and easy, just what we needed after a long drive. Breakfast was above what we expected. I would use the hotel again and I would recommend it to all.

Room Tip: Hotel floor layout is a H shape. Consider upgrading to the 4th Floor (Top Floor) (Executive Floor) w...

After staying in Limerick for two nights decided to stay a further night in Galway at short notice. Drove by the Clayton Hotel and popped in. Met a great lady on reception who was really pleasant and sorted us with a great room. As there were a lot of kids in the hotel for holidays we asked for a room not close to the family rooms (we were ready to accept whatever was available at that notice but thought that it would be worth asking). We got a fantastic room on the 4th floor that was as quiet as anything.. it was spotlessly clean and comfortable and had a balcony.

breakfast was a great affair, well managed by efficient and pleasant staff with a great array of food from traditional fried food to continental, meats cheeses, porridge, pastries etc. Really comfortable dining experience.

WE did not get to use the pool as we didn't have time. We will be back here again without doubt. it is about €12 for a taxi to town and the hotel will arrange this. We did not need this as I was driving and we get great directions!!

I would recommend this hotel if you want to stay a little bit out of the hub-bub in a great, well run hotel, with great staff.

Liked the hotel, but the baby cot they gave us looked like something a raccoon mangled.

Te room was warm and comfortable, shower was neat, bed was comfortable. Lovely view of the highway. KFC and Grocery Store across the street, bus stop just outside.
