My husband and I booked a double. The room was spacious with a double bed, a single. and a large bathroom. The shower was hot and had a powerful spray. The only weird thing about it was that the glass panel only came half way across the tub, allowing water to leak out onto the floor. Other than that it was fine. The mattress were a little hard for us but that is pretty common in Ireland The B& B was spotless and nicely decorated. Breakfast was served between 8-9:30 am and was delicious. In addition to a full Irish breakfast, there was also cheese, grapefruit, several types of toast and cereals. Coffee ,tea and OJ are also served. There is a lovely garden view from the dining room through french doors. Mike and Mary were warm and friendly. Mary would ask each day where we were off to and how we'd made out the day before. She was especially helpful when we were planning on catching the ferry to the Aran Islands. We stayed at AbbeyLee for 3 days and would highly recommend it.
