I have to agree with the other reviews. This was a wonderful B&B. Everything was spotless, breakfast was the best I had while in Ireland, and the hosts are lovely. I was there to run the Connemarathon, and they graciously offered me a ride into town to get the bus to the start line, even though it was early on a Sunday morning. They made us well aware of the "water situation" going on in Galway at the time, and provided us ample clean water for drinking and teeth brushing. At first I was afraid we were too far to town, but the bus was a breeze and right outside the door. And with all the traffic getting in and out of Galway, we were much happier to not have to drive all the way in. Again, top rated B&B! Could not have asked for more.

I always stay at Abacus and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Galway. Top class hospitality from a most welcoming family. The rooms are perfectly equipped and the standard of cleanliness are superb. Breakfast is a treat not to be missed. You can be assured of a warm and friendly stay at this wonderful home-from -home establishment. I look forward to my next stay.
