We recently stayed at the Abacus Guest House, we cannot rate it highly enough. From the second we arrived in the house we were made very welcome. The Guest House is very clean and you wanted for nothing everything was there for you from shampoo, hairdryer, fridge and even access to th Internet. The power shower was fab. Breakfast, the choice was endless and freshly cooked to order. There are bus stops nearby to take you to Galway centre, but its only takes 15-20 mins to walk away. This family know what their guests require for there stay and they do it very well. Special thanks to Louise who was always eager to help in anyway. This Guest House is a must while visiting Galway.

We stayed here for a few nights in September and found the rooms to be extremely clean and the hospitality excellent. The city centre is only a short drive away but we also took the bus on the odd occasion which was really handy as the bus stop is only across the road. Breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. Its the kind of place you would think about going back to in future.

We arrived late but was received by a very friendly woman. The breakfast was really good and fresh. The room was clean, nice and had everything you need.

I can't write enough good things about this B&B! I stayed at Abacus Guesthouse for 6 nights in August. This B&B really exceeded standards in hospitality! Everyone at Abacus was very friendly and always available to answer any questions. Louise even helped me with travel arrangements for my next destination. The rooms are also very clean and the breakfast room is lovely. The location of the B&B is convenient- only a few minutes bus ride into town. I usually walked into the center of town. It was only about a 25 minute walk. If I ever visit Galway again, I will definitely stay here.
