Recently stayed at the Abacus Guest House and I cannot rate it highly enough. The family who own Abacus are delightful people who are very friendly and helpful. The Guest House is very clean and tidy with beautiful decor throughout. You are supplied with everything you need for your stay, e.g. hairdryer, shampoo, soap, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, extra pillows/bedclothes. The breakfast provided is delicious. It is situated in a central position with easy access into Galway centre. I would highly recommend this Guest House to anyone wishing to book accommodation in Galway.

The Galway Races brings us to Galway every year we have stayed in this guest house three times and have no hesitation saying this is a fabulous place to stay

This was an excellent choice of hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and their daughter (Louise).
Both our rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming.
We particularly liked the little touches e.g. Mini fridge and safe in room. Also a water cooler readily available for guests.
The breakfast.........what can I say I must have put at least 5lbs on in weight. Excellent choice of breakfast menu.
All in all I would thoroughy recommended anyone to stay at 'Abacus'

Our first night in Ireland and we were recommended to the Abacus Guest House. We were met by Loiuse who took wonderful care of us not only with our stay but where to travel next. This set our expectations on what we should look for in our next lodging experience. It was wonderful! Thank you!

Abacus Guesthouse is the most friendly place to stay. The family owned business is a very grounded and genuine atmosphere. The owners are so accommodating and love what they do!!
