The Abacus Guest House was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Galway. The accomodations were great as well as the breakfasts. It was very handy to have access to a computer right in the family room. The innkeepers were very warm and helpful. The owners' daughter Louise was delightful and very eager to help in any way.

We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Galway.

A friend of mine booked this sweet bed and breakfast for me. It proved to be a lovely weekend with a very nice family running the place and caring for every detail.

My single room was small but immaculate and newly renovated.
Breakfast was delicious and there was no rushing to get you out the door.

The location is fine too for visitng the Galway city centre. A nice place to rest your head when in Galway.

This was a very comfortable, clean and accomodating place to stay. Facilities good with hairdryer and fridge in room, great power shower, guest lounge. Fresh tasty breakfasts cooked to order with a variety of items to choose from.
About a 20 minute walk into Galway, bus stop opposite the guesthouse. couple of pubs nearby - 10 minutes walk but better and cheaper selection in the town.

The staff at Abacus Guest house seem to have thought of everything you could need in a b&b. It is in a very convenient location on the way into galway township just back off the main road so you don't get any traffic noise, which i was very happy about. The map on their website is very helpful in finding the location. All the shops and attractions of galway and salthill are a very short drive away and there is parking right at the doorstep of the b&b. The room i had was very comfortable and the power shower (which i had read about on trip advisor) was fantastic -even had a shower gel dispenser! Being a tea addict I really appreciated the tea tray with biscuits (you don't always get these in Irish b&bs) and there were plenty of options for breakfast. Can't think of any negatives so I would be happy to book again if i was visiting in the future.
