I contacted the Lynfield bnb to book 2 twin rooms for a friday and saturday night, the house number was not connecting so I phoned the mobile number and spoke to the owner. He said he had availability and took the booking and asked me to email him the details which I did detailing the group and time of arrival. A few days later I still hadnt received a confirmation by email or phone so I called him and he confirmed that he had availability and asked me to email him the details again which I did. Still did not receive a confirmation from him by phone/email.
Arrived at the bnb at the stated time and no one was there to answer the door, I phoned him, he said someone would be there in a minute. A woman arrived checked the book and informed me that there was no booking. I phoned him and he said his email was not working and he couldn't check my message and that his bnb was full to try some down the road. He was rude and very unprofessional and couldn't care less that he was wasting my time or that I had travelled for hours to get to Galway and it was late in the evening to look for somewhere else. I would not recommend anyone to stay there, I will recommend Teach na Coirbe on the Tuam Road which is where we ended up staying and had a wonderful stay.
